Do you constantly think about the future? Join us for a discussion about a topic no one knows anything about! Nobody is an expert in the future, but we’re going there anyway.
Each week we’ll explore a topic, such as gardening, and imagine how it will take place in the future. We aren’t particularly interested in future forecasting but rather in expanding our capacity to imagine the world otherwise. We will discuss our findings in great detail and after each session, the creative team will conceptualise our imaginings.
Each week we will welcome a guest speaker, a world builder, with a different set of creative digital skills who will support us on our journey.
Get a fresh perspective on:
Learning in public: we’ll be figuring things out together in real-time!
We are Citizens first: you don’t need to come to this session with particular knowledge of skills so it doesn’t matter if you work in tech or not
Imagining bleak is easy - we’re going to stay optimistic in these sessions and see possibilities where others may not
This is all fun! We are using our imagination and playing with the ideas we come up with together
This week we’ll focus on…
Cheeky Futures: Blind forecasting enables a riskier, bolder outlook… or so they claim.
Who’s this for?
Anyone who wants to imagine the world in new and interesting ways…and to have fun with it!
Anyone aged 18 and above
What you need to bring
Yourself and your imagination.
